The journey of Arleane and Marcelo in Big Brother Brasil 25 (BBB 25) came to an end on January 21, 2025, as they became the first couple eliminated from the reality show. The married duo from Manaus, Amazonas, exited the competition with 55.95 percent of the public vote during the first “Paredรฃo” (eviction round).

Voting Results
The elimination saw three duos competing for survival in the first eviction. Arleane and Marcelo received 55.95 percent of the votes to leave.
Their closest competitors, Diogo Almeida and Vilma, secured 36 percent of the vote, while Edilberto and Raissa garnered only 8.05 percent.

Who Are Arleane and Marcelo?
Arleane Marques Prata, 34, is a social media influencer and performer of Mura indigenous descent. She holds a degree in Aesthetics and Cosmetics and serves as the drum queen for the Amazonian samba school, A Grande Famรญlia. In 2023, she was crowned Queen of the Manaus Carnival.
Marcelo Prata, 38, is a civil servant and occupational safety engineer. The couple met 11 years ago during a samba school rehearsal in Manaus and got married via video call during the pandemic.
The first eviction round of BBB 25 was set in motion after Aline and Vinรญcius won the inaugural Leader’s Test. The winning duo had the power to nominate a pair for eviction, and they chose Edilberto and Raissa.
On the following day, three additional duos were placed in the “Leader’s Sights” by Aline and Vinรญcius. The pairs included Arleane and Marcelo, Diogo Almeida and Vilma, and twins Joรฃo Pedro and Joรฃo Gabriel.
During the live program on Sunday, Maike and Gabriel, the first Angels of the season, immunized Joรฃo Pedro and Joรฃo Gabriel. Aline and Vinรญcius then selected Arleane and Marcelo for eviction.
A three-way tie occurred during the confessional vote, involving Diogo Almeida and Vilma, Diego and Daniele Hypolito, and Vitรณria and Mateus Strada. Aline and Vinรญcius broke the tie, sending Diogo Almeida and Vilma to the Paredรฃo. The nominated duo chose Vitรณria and Mateus for the Counterattack, but Vitรณria and Mateus won the Prova Bate e Volta challenge, escaping elimination.
Despite their early elimination, Arleane and Marcelo expressed gratitude for their time on the show. Arleane plans to continue her career as an influencer and performer, while Marcelo will return to his role as an occupational safety engineer.
