Why Nestlé Issued the Recall
Consumers reported finding wood-like material in the recalled meals, and one potential choking incident has been linked to the issue.
Nestlé has stated that they are working closely with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to investigate the contamination.
What to Do If You Have the Recalled Products
Anyone who purchased these frozen meals should not eat them. Consumers can return the affected products to the store where they were purchased for a full refund or replacement.
For more details, Nestlé USA can be reached at (800) 681-1676 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.
Ensuring Food Safety
Nestlé has assured consumers that no other Lean Cuisine or Stouffer’s meals are included in the recall. The company is actively addressing the problem and taking measures to prevent similar issues in the future.
Customers are urged to check their freezers immediately and take action if they have any of the recalled products. Food safety remains a top concern, and companies must respond quickly when potential health risks arise.
